Welcome to Much Joy Bakeshop, a cozy cottage bakery with a small and mighty mission: to cultivate joy and build community through thoughtfully crafted, homemade treats.

My name is Cat and I am your baker. I’ve owned and operated a few different home bakeries across the Bay Area since 2016. My focus is American-style desserts in Asian-inspired flavors that your aunties will describe as "not too sweet."

Fast forward to 2025 - with a heart of abundance, support from my community, and the determination to live creatively, I reopened my business as Much Joy Bakeshop in my hometown, San Jose.
